A private chef is a chef that works for a person, residence or business, preparing meals for a one-time event or on a schedule corresponding to the client.
The rates of a private chef vary depending on the chef's experience, the scope of work, and the amount of time it takes to shop for ingredients, prepare meals, serve, clean, and complete any other related duties. We will always share a rough estimate of the chef's rates, but it is ultimately up to the clients to negotiate final pricing and benefits.
Absolutely. Many of our chefs specialize in accommodating dietary needs such as gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, vegan, kosher, halal, and allergy-sensitive meal preparation. During the matching process, we prioritize chefs whose expertise aligns with your household's specific requirements.
Yes! The experience is completely tailored to your preferences. Once you sign our service agreement, we will send along chef profiles matching your criteria. From there, you may select any or all of the chefs you choose to interview.
The recruiting process varies, though we typically can place a chef in one to two weeks.
Absolutely! We work with a variety of chefs who are excited to work with you on an event, dinner party, bachelor party, etc. We also have a roster of sommeliers and mixologists if you would like to supplement the event with some beverages.
All of our chefs are referrals and undergo a thorough interview process. We check all references and will perform a background check upon request.

Yes! While the majority of our placements are throughout the United States, we regularly work with clients internationally — including the Caribbean, Europe, and beyond. If you have a placement need outside the U.S., please reach out and we will be happy to discuss your options.
