About This Position
About the Concept: Benji's is a new all-day café and restaurant concept opening in the second week of September 2026 in a prime West Hollywood location with heavy foot traffic. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Chef to help lead our opening and grow with our company. Benji's is designed to be a daily destination, from coffee through dinner. Our menu centers around refined, Los Angeles–inspired classics, locally sourced ingredients, and fresh, creative, and thoughtfully composed dishes. The space is designed to attract a young, sophisticated, and social crowd. Position Details: - Start Date: Part-time beginning in July, transitioning to full-time in August - Opening: Second week of September 2026 - Salary: $80,000–$90,000 (DOE) Role Overview: This role is best suited for a strong kitchen manager or supervisor ready to step into a leadership position. The Chef will work closely with culinary consultant Brian Arruda to execute the vision while maintaining consistency, quality, and culture in the kitchen. Requirements
